City of Petersburg Government Offices
Closed for Christmas Holiday
Petersburg, Va: City government offices will be closed on Monday, December 24th and Tuesday, December 25th in observance of the Christmas Holiday. Closed offices include: City Hall, City Hall Annex, Parks & Leisure Services, Blandford Cemetery Records Office, and Petersburg Public Library.
Petersburg Freedom Support Center will close at 12:00pm on Friday, December 21st and reopen during normal business hours on Wednesday, December 26th.
Dogwood Trace Golf Course will close at 2:00pm on Monday, December 24th and reopen during their normal business hours on Wednesday, December 26th.
Blandford Church and Centre Hill Mansion will be closed on Saturday, December 22nd and Sunday, December 23rd. The Exchange Visitor Center will be open on Saturday, December 22nd and Sunday, December 23rd.
Petersburg Area Transit (PAT) Administrative offices and customer service will be closed on Monday, December 24th and Tuesday, December 25th.
PAT Bus service (including Para-Transit) will begin its last route at 4:15pm on Monday, December 24th. There will be no route service on Tuesday, December 25th. Greyhound offices will be open on Monday, December 24th.
Central Virginia Waste Management Authority (CVWMA) offices will be closed Tuesday, December 25th. Residential recycling and trash collections on Tuesday (25th) through Friday (28th) will be on a one-day delay.
BLUE TUESDAY residential recycling in Petersburg will be on a one-day delay as there’re no collections on Tuesday, December 25th.
Petersburg Thursday and Friday residential trash collections will have a one-day delay on December 27th & 28th. Friday trash collections will be serviced on Saturday.
