The City of Petersburg will be closing the following streets for Saturday’s Halloween Half Marathon and 5K races. Parking on some streets along the race route is also prohibited beginning at 12 a.m. tonight. Signs have been posted in these areas. All road closures and interruptions are between the hours of 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. The following streets listed will have police officers assigned to the areas and the city’s Department of Public Works will have barricades posted.
Street closures and traffic changes include:
• All turn lanes on S. Crater Rd. will be closed during the race times of 7 a.m. until 8 a.m.
• Flank Rd. will be cleared for regular traffic flow at 8:30 a.m.
• The parking lot across from Croaker’s Spot will be closed from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
