Low water pressure is expected in the South Crater Road area, Sycamore Street to the Prince George line, affected by a water line break earlier this morning. In order for the water levels to remain level, residents and businesses in the impacted area should conserve water until repairs are made. Local medical facilities have been contacted as well.
Please take following steps to conserve water:
- Conserve water consumption in all ways possible (washing dishes, clothes, cars)
- Conduct regular and thorough surveys of your sink and toilet facilities to correct any leaks and reduce toilet tank volumes
-Inspect your showers to see that water flow restrictions are in place
-Delay special projects requiring water use and routine flushing of your service lines until the water emergency is lifted
The City will alert customers by telephone, email, message boards located in the specific area, television and social media. The City’s public works crews are actively assessing the situation and the City will provide prompt updates to the public. Thank you to our residents and businesses for your patience.
