City of Petersburg Government Offices Closed on Election Day & Veterans Day
City of Petersburg government offices will be closed on Tuesday, November 4, and Tuesday, November 11, 2025, for Election Day and Veterans Day. Offices will reopen during normal business hours on Wednesday, November 5, and Wednesday, November 12.
Petersburg Area Transit bus service will operate on Election Day, November 4, and Veterans Day, November 11, during normal business hours. For more information about PAT services and schedules, visit www.ridepat.com.
The City of Petersburg and Petersburg Communities, Inc. (PCI) will host the 2nd Annual Veterans Day Celebration on Saturday, November 8, beginning at 4 pm at Old Towne Civic Center, 136 River Street. Admission is free.

CVWMA recycling and Meridian Waste trash collections will continue as regularly scheduled.
