The WVU BAD Buildings Program (West Virginia University Brownfields, Abandoned and Dilapidated Program), City of Petersburg, and the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) are working together to take a look at City owned properties that could be considered brownfields and/or abandoned and dilapidated structures to prioritize revitalization. We ask those interested to join us at Petersburg Public Library on January 9th at 11 AM, to include lunch, to discuss these properties and then go out into the field to survey these properties.
