Let's talk about Prostate Cancer. All are invited to attend a special evening event at Virginia State University, moderated by City of Petersburg Mayor Sam Parham, who will not only share his own story, but will also introduce a panel of experts in the field to include Dr. Robert T. Nelson, Jr. - Urology of Virginia, Dr. Richard Graham - Bon Secours, Dr. Ishmail Allahudin-Conway - Public Intellectual/Founder and Chair of the Department of Mass Communications Virginia State University,  also Keynote Speakers Professor William Battle - Bowie State University, and Mr. Euvon Jones - Patient Ambassador and Cancer Advocate to Congress.
 
All are welcome, particularly men of any age, to learn more about this disease, prevention, early detection, the importance of screening, and treatment. The evening will begin with a complimentary reception before the presentations by the panel of doctors. 

This event is FREE to attend thanks to the generosity of the hosts who are united in the importance of spreading awareness about Prostate Cancer. Hosts include VSU's Public Health Institute, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. (Nu Psi Chapter), City of Petersburg, and Bon Secours. The event will take place in the L. Douglas Wilder Building on the Virginia State University campus.
