Petersburg Residents Need to Continue to Boil Water

Construction repairs on a main water line in Petersburg have been completed and pressure restored to all lines. Residents and businesses should have full water pressure soon.

Water samples have been sent to the lab for testing. Residents and businesses should continue boiling all water used until further notice. It is expected that the need to boil water will continue for at least 24 hours.

If residents experience any discoloration in tap water, please run the water until it has cleared. 

The City will continue to provide updates on boiling water. Residents and businesses are being asked to share this information with neighbors and friends through social media and other communications.
