Petersburg Tourism is conducting a free walking tour, “From Bondage to the Battles for Civil Rights in Petersburg” on Sunday, February 27, 2022 from 2pm – 4pm in historic Downtown Petersburg. The tour will begin at The Exchange Building, 15 W Bank Street and will last approximately two (2) hours. Wear comfortable shoes. The tour will discuss the area’s rich African-American Heritage including personalities and events from the 1600’s to the present. Reservations must be made in advance as space is limited.
