Celebrating Halloween in Petersburg
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and current restrictions involving large-scale events, the 2020 Halloween Trunk-a-Treat in Petersburg has been canceled. This event typically draws hundreds of people and the safety of our staff, community partners, and our patrons is of the utmost importance.
As trick-or-treating on Halloween is a cultural event vs. a City event, the City cannot and is not canceling general trick-or-treating activities. However, for those considering traditional house to house trick-or-treating, the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) considers this a high risk activity.
