Posted on: March 31, 2020[ARCHIVED] Petersburg Operating Under Stay at Home Order
Beginning Wednesday, April 1, 2020 through Friday, April 17, 2020, the City of Petersburg will be operating under the, “Stay at Home Order” established by Governor Northam (Executive Order #55).
Under this order, the City will function under Essential Personnel only. During this time, all Public Facilities will be closed to the public, as well as all staff. Those employees who have been designated as Essential Personnel should report to their place of work as prescribed by the Deputy City Manager and/or Department Director.
All Billing and Collections payments should be made via the City’s drop box or the online payment portal. Limited staff will be available during this time to address billing issues.
Additionally, all Petersburg Area Transit fixed route services will be suspended until further notice beginning April 1, 2020 at 4:30 p.m.
Petersburg Area Transit will only provide emergency para-transit services for current para-transit riders for essential business.
