Petersburg Government Offices Closed
Monday, November 11th in Observance of Veterans Day
Petersburg, Va: City government offices will be closed on Monday, November 11th in observance of Veterans Day.
Closed offices include: City Hall, City Hall Annex, Parks & Leisure Services, Petersburg Public Library, and Blandford Cemetery Operations Office.
Offices will reopen during normal business hours on Tuesday, November 12, 2019.
Petersburg Freedom Support Center will be closed for services on Monday, November 11th, however, they will host a Veterans Day Social from 11am -2pm at 32 W. Washington Street.
Dogwood Trace Golf Course will remain open during their normal business hours on November 11th.
Petersburg Area Transit (PAT) Administrative offices will be closed on Monday, November 11th. PAT Bus service (including Para-Transit), PAT ticketing office, and Greyhound will operate on Monday, November 11th.
Central Virginia Waste Management Authority (CVWMA) residential recycling and residential trash collections will continue as regularly scheduled for Veterans Day. There will be no holiday delay for residential recycling the week of November 11-15.
