Together with the City of Petersburg and Petersburg City Public Schools, First Lady McAuliffe will highlight a new partnership between the City of Petersburg and Petersburg City Public Schools. This collaboration will offer meaningful and engaging youth-focused activities, meals and transportation for 6-12th graders during students’ two-week break from school.
This holiday program is part of the “City Partnership with the Schools,” an interagency initiative to improve student attendance and enhance student learning by strengthening health, housing, nutrition, school climate, and community support for Petersburg K-12 students and families.
