The City of Petersburg announces the 2015 City of Petersburg Holiday Parade.
The 2015 Parade Committee would like to invite you to participate in the 2015 City of Petersburg Holiday Parade! The parade will be held Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 3:00PM. The theme is Celebrating a Green Holiday Season - “ An Eco-Friendly Holiday Season”. Parade entry packets are available at the Parks & Leisure Services Office, 1937 Johnson Road, Petersburg, Virginia 23805 and online at www.petersburgva.gov
The committee is encouraging social/civic groups, church groups, business community, school divisions and city departments to enter a float. The route will be the same as last year -beginning on (South Crater Road - near the water tower) and disbanding at Pinehill Plaza. Parade participants and units will assemble between 1:00PM - 2:30PM, near the Water Tower on South Crater Road (Old JC Penney Parking Area).
