The City of Petersburg Government offices will open at regular working hours on Thursday, January 29. Liberal leave and virtual work are in effect for non-essential personnel. Essential employees must report to work on their regular schedule.
Commissioner of the Revenue Office:
· Opening at 10:30 am on Thursday and Friday.
Courts:
· Circuit and JDR Courts will open at 10:00 am on Thursday. General District Court and the Sheriff’s Office will open at 8:00 am.
Treasurer's Office:
- Opening at 10:00 am on Thursday and Friday
Service Changes:
· Bus Service will resume on Thursday, January 29, from 10:15 am to 7:15 pm, only on primary roads.
· The Comfort Station at Petersburg Area Transit will remain open 24 hours until further notice.
Safety and Road Conditions:
· Petersburg Public Works crews are continuing to clear secondary roads and parking lots.
· Primary roads are clear, but icy spots remain.
· Utilize off-street parking.
