New Crime Analysis and Alert System…NOW available to Petersburg Residents:

Petersburg Bureau of Police has partnered with BAIR Analytics, to provide City of Petersburg residents with an accessible online interactive crime map to analyze statistics in any area of the City, which can provide Petersburg residents expedient alerts about crime in the area as well as giving Police Officials the capability to quickly alert Petersburg residents to crimes shortly after they occur.

Additionally, the site includes anonymous crime reporting and neighborhood watch reports that will automatically generate emails regarding recent crime activity in the City of Petersburg.

RAIDS online is a part of a software system created by BAIR Analytics to provided crime reports and statistics to citizens in more of a real time fashion through integration with the Petersburg Police Department’s Records Management System (RMS). This interface ensures updated and current information is being submitted to the site for the residents to view.  In addition, any citizen who registers on site will have the option to receive daily crime reports via email.  

This service is being provided to the citizens of Petersburg at NO CHARGE.  Submitted information remains anonymous. Bair Analytics does not sell information to third party vendors and all information on the site is ad free.

How do I Sign Up? What do I need to do?:

1. Visit our Community Bulletin Board and Select “Take Back My Community”
2. Once access is gained, Select the "City “Petersburg”
3. In the address line, type in an address you would like to research and select a radius
4. Click on  the link “Sign up for crime alerts” by registering
