IMPORTANT INFORMATION

FOR PETERSBURG TAXPAYERS

Second Quarter Real Estate Taxes will be due for payment on December 28, 2018. 

Payments to the City’s drop box locations or postmarked by the due date will be considered current and on time. All payments made after the due date will be considered late and delinquent and will incur a 10% penalty and 10% APR interest the day following the due date.

** Any Real Estate Taxes, Personal Property or Utility Bills for the City of Petersburg may be viewed or paid Online HERE. 

There is also a link from the City's homepage. Any bill that can’t be viewed on our website is in collections.

Additional Payment Options –

• Drop Boxes at City Hall: 135 N Union St. (Curbside - 24hrs or Inside from 8:30am – 4:30pm)

• Mail payments with the proper stub for Real Estate Taxes to: City Collector, PO Box 1271, Petersburg, VA 23804.

** FAILURE TO RECEIVE A BILL DOES NOT RELIEVE YOUR PAYMENT OBLIGATION OR EXCUSE PENALTIES**
